Our attorneys work in close cooperation with our clients’ special investigation units to uncover insurance fraud and either prosecute civil suits against the perpetrators of such fraud or defend against fraudulent claims. Drawing upon the experience and skills of attorneys from among our various practices, we have the expertise and ability to investigate suspicious claim and affirmatively litigate insurance fraud matters, including all aspects of first and third-party fraudulent claims in arbitrations and trials. The range of expertise concerning fraudulent claims we litigate is far-reaching, including arson and suspicious property loss claims, Qui Tam and other recovery actions, and fraud rings and large-scale fraud activity. The members of the Fraud and SIU Defense Team have conducted numerous depositions and examinations under oath, as well as bench and jury trials, and are familiar with all methods of evaluating, litigating, and resolving suspected claims. In doing so, they are mindful of the necessity to comply with statutory and governmental regulatory requirements.
